Lone Tree Jujutsu welcomes students regardless of age, shape, size or level of fitness.
All new members are fully assessed to ascertain their current level of fitness, martial arts experience (if any), along with any special concerns they may have. Programmes of tuition can be tailored to suit any age, shape and ability.
Lone Tree does not believe in ‘fast-track’ methods to obtaining your black belt (Dan grade).
All Martial Arts require commitment and our aim is to assist you in becoming the best martial artist that you can be. Without exception, this will take time and dedication. There are no short-cuts to gaining experience. All gradings are taken very seriously, and you can rest assured that you will only successfully pass your grading examination when you have genuinely reached the required standard. You be able to take real satisfaction from the fact that you have worked hard and gained the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding enabling you to wear your new belt with pride.
Although the Fun aspect is an important part of the Lone Tree ’style’, we also acknowledge the strong Samurai heritage within Jujutsu: the Bushido principles of honour, respect for yourself and others, courage and self discipline. Therefore we consider that demonstrating correct etiquette within the Dojo (training area) is an important element of developing a student’s personal code of conduct.
We are able to offer club members a wide range of training sessions throughout Wiltshire. As new classes are being added to our schedule regularly, please contact us for details of your nearest class.
A training session would typically include the following elements:
